3S Antriebe GmbH produces unique electrical actuators for buried valves in water, gas and district heating networks. 3S actuators enable utilities to operate their supply networks automatically and remotely, which sets new standards in terms of sustainability and operational efficiency. Valve actuators by 3S Antriebe GmbH do not require cable infrastructure for electricity supply or communication links. They can be installed directly in the ground meaning no chambers are required. As they do not have to be flange mounted onto a valve, existing valves can be retrofitted without interrupting the supply to customers. 3S actuators are used in many European countries, but also in China, Singapore, Russia, Malaysia and Australia.
