ABRACLAD is one of the most versatile wear resistant materials currently available to the Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager in today's market. Offering excellent resistance to abrasive wear under moderate to high impact conditions, this chromium carbide hard-facing plate is available in a choice of standard sizes, up to a maximum of 4000 mm x 2000 mm, with a choice of thicknesses from 5 mm to 40 mm.
ABREMA offer a full profiling and fabrication service. Our competitive plasma profiling service can also include countersunk holes (with or without inserts), threaded holes and plug holes. We can also supply welded studs, positioned with precision. Unlike hardened mild steel, ABRACLAD can be fabricated into all manner of shapes to suit any application - chutes, hoppers, cones, screens, pipes, the list goes on.
