adapt heritage is a small independent heritage consultancy who actively promote and manage change within the historic environment. Our advice is underpinned by a thorough understanding of heritage assets and a detailed knowledge of the heritage and planning legislation, policy and guidance. We have extensive practical experience of working with companies and private individuals, successfully guiding them through the heritage planning process. We are accredited and full members of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). We have numerous years of private and public sector experience and have good working relationships with conservation officers across the country and statutory bodies such as Historic England. We recognise and thrive on finding solutions to complex heritage problems, fortified by the importance of adaptability and meeting client needs and expectations.
