ADFerTech is a Belfast-based specialist in anaerobic digestion (AD) technology, transforming agricultural waste into high-value organic fertiliser. We develop and deploy a low-cost, bolt-on device that concentrates nutrients from AD digestate, creating a readily storable and transportable granular fertiliser. Targeting the growing UK and European AD & Biogas Industry, ADFerTech addresses the significant challenge of digestate disposal, reducing costs for farmers and enhancing the sustainability of AD operations.

Our innovative solution minimizes wastewater treatment needs and improves the environmental profile of AD plants, contributing to a more circular economy for agricultural nutrients. Founded in 2013 and backed by Horizon 2020 EU Commission grants, ADFerTech is committed to driving efficiency and sustainability within the anaerobic digestion sector.
