Agar Management Consultancy

Agar Management Consultancy is a business consulting and cultural development firm based in Exeter, Devon, specialising in leadership development, organisational culture transformation, and high-performing team creation. Founded in 2015, Agar partners with businesses across sectors—including universities, financial services, and professional organisations—to develop impactful leadership capability, foster positive cultural change, and enable staff engagement and wellbeing. The firm combines evidence-based personality profiling tools (Insights Discovery, EQ-i, Hogan, Motivational Maps) with bespoke executive coaching, facilitation, and organisational development services. Agar's approach centres on the belief that organisations succeed when employees have the right skills, attitudes, and support to fulfil their potential. The consultancy delivers customised solutions in leadership coaching, team development, staff wellbeing programmes, career transitions, and cultural change initiatives—rejecting one-size-fits-all approaches in favour of tailored strategies aligned to each organisation's unique needs. With a team of experienced coaches and consultants who combine warmth, challenge, and professional expertise, Agar has earned strong testimonials from senior leaders and HR professionals at institutions including the University of Exeter, Cardiff University, and Buckfast Abbey, positioning itself as a trusted partner in creating cultures of courage, authenticity, and inspired leadership.
