Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to combating hunger in Northeast Ohio. Established in 1982, we connect generous donors with a network of over 600 food pantries, meal sites, shelters, and other vital hunger-relief programs serving eight counties – Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, and Wayne. We provide essential food and resources to individuals and families facing food insecurity, ensuring access to nourishment and support within our community. Our two strategically located campuses in Akron and Canton facilitate the efficient distribution of over 3 million pounds of food annually, directly impacting the lives of thousands in need. We are committed to building a thriving community where everyone has access to a nutritious and reliable food supply.
