Overview
Alaska Rural Veterinary Outreach Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing vital veterinary care to rural communities across Alaska. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, we operate mobile veterinary clinics, offering essential services like spay-neuter surgeries and basic medical attention where access is limited.
Our team of dedicated volunteers and medical professionals travels to remote villages – including Nome, Yakutat, and Kotzebue – to deliver much-needed veterinary assistance. We focus on improving the health and well-being of Alaska’s rural pets and their owners through outreach, advocacy, and education.
ARVO relies entirely on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and partners to continue its mission. We are committed to bridging the healthcare gap for animals in underserved Alaskan communities, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. We strive to be a helping hand for those who need it most.
