Albatross Capital is a real estate company focused in Spain and Portugal willing to invest as principal investor and operating partner on a wide spectrum of real estate asset classes. As of today Albatross Capital is currently managing 14 developments with an aggregated sales value of €550 million, comprising 1250 residential and commercial units and totalling 150.000 sqm. Albatross Capital has a team with more than 25 years of experience that has invested more than 20bn euros in different geographies with a hands-on management approach. In 2017, jointly with Quantico SA, Albatross raised, and since then advises the Albatross Iberian RE Renovation Fund, an investment vehicle based in Luxembourg, which is focused on identifying residential and office buildings that can be refurbished and re-converted into residential, respectively, located in premium locations in Lisbon, Cascais, Estoril and Porto. In 2018 Albatross established a co-investment strategy to develop big residential projects in Portugal directed to the Portuguese middle class. This platform is currently managing more than 100,000 sqm and is focused on new acquisitions. In 2019 Albatross and Quantico launched their own commercialization agency, Quetzal Properties, in order to distribute and commercialize its prime developments in Portugal and international markets. On top of this, Albatross is willing to invest a significant amount of capital in a wide spectrum of real estate opportunities including residential, hotel, office, retail, logistic, industrial assets, student housing facilities and land.
