AmautaXR develops blockchain-based metaverse-type learning management software for the mining, oil and gas industries. Our solution provides an immutable, auditable training platform that allows for immersive experiences that can be adapted to our client's needs. Training in the mining environment poses challenges from a number of different perspectives. Firstly it is very practical but due to the operational nature and environment exceptionally hard to create or simulate these conditions for training purposes. This leads to training becoming focused on theoretical elements instead of practical ones. Add elements of risk to this and the value of immersive training becomes hard to question. Immersive learning/training has been proven as promoting more knowledge retention. Using this hypothesis while creating training environments which can be adapted, re-played, tested and audited ends up being a tool of immense value across mining disciplines.
