American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) is a leading nonprofit organization based in Lincoln, Nebraska, dedicated to improving the care of individuals with mental illness. We champion the vital role of psychiatric pharmacists in enhancing access to safe, effective, and appropriate treatment. AAPP serves nearly 3,000 members, including pharmacists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals.

Our mission is to advance the specialty of psychiatric pharmacy through education, research, and advocacy. We provide valuable resources and tools to support clinicians in their practice, focusing on areas such as psychotropic stewardship, outpatient psychiatric care, and medication management.

As the former Conference of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists, AAPP has evolved to better reflect its expanded scope and commitment to improving mental health outcomes. We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices within the field.
