The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (Alabama) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to preventing suicide and offering support to those affected by it across Alabama. Since 2010, AFSP Alabama has fostered a vital community of individuals – including families, friends, mental health professionals, and community leaders – united by a shared mission. We achieve this through comprehensive programs focused on education, research, and advocacy, working to raise awareness of suicide risk factors and warning signs, and providing crucial support to those experiencing loss.
