Amparo

Amparo is redesigning prosthetic care to enhance the experience for amputees & orthopaedic technicians. We believe that prostheses for recent amputees can be improved to help people with a faster physical and psychological recovery. Using human-centred design, Amparo has developed completely new prosthetic fitting method. Our socket technology is directly moulded to the residual limb like a second skin. Our innovative materials allow the socket to be re-moulded as many times as necessary. This enables the whole recovery process to happen with only one prosthesis as it accommodates the early stump volume changes that happen after surgery.
