Animal Shelter Foundation Inc is a non-profit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida, dedicated to supporting the Animal Shelter at Tom Brown Park. We work to improve the lives of homeless animals in our community by providing vital resources and funding. ASF supports the shelter’s operations, including veterinary care and specialized surgeries, and promotes responsible pet ownership through education and community events. Our programs help over 5,000 animals find their way to the shelter each year, and we are committed to reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter initiatives. We strive to ensure every animal receives the care and compassion they deserve.

ASF’s mission is to provide a safety net for animals in need, offering foster care, educational resources, and financial support to the Animal Shelter. We champion kindness and respect for all animals, fostering a community dedicated to humane treatment and responsible pet ownership. Our efforts extend to funding heartworm treatment and providing essential medical procedures, giving vulnerable animals a second chance at a loving home.

Founded in 2007, Animal Shelter Foundation relies on the generosity of volunteers and donors to continue its impactful work. We are proud to partner with Tallahassee Animal Services and the wider community to make a tangible difference in the lives of countless animals.
