APK - Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business

Be part of the inaugural digital Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business which will take place on October 19th, 2020. Regarded as the flagship event of German business in Asia-Pacific, the APK is being held every two years in various locations in Asia. The aim of the conference is to discuss and promote economic relations between Germany and Asia. Since the first APK in 1986, the conference has steadily increased in significance and attendance - now attracting up to 1.000 business leaders, executives and government representatives from Germany and Asia. Today, the APK is jointly organized by the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), and the bilateral Chambers of Commerce in the Asia-Pacific region.It is co-chaired by the APA Chairman, Joe Kaeser and the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. Apart from discussing current economic, social and political issues and future trends, one of the main objectives of the conference is the networking aspect. The APK is the largest networking event for German business in Asia-Pacific.
