We are a specialist domiciliary care provider, supporting adults with hoarding difficulties to maintain a habitable living environment, as well as meeting care, support and enablement needs. We understand that most people are emotionally attached to most, if not all their belongings, therefore we always exercise empathy, respect and patience when assisting our clients. We focus on building and maintaining a trusting relationship with our clients, being mindful not to put pressure on them, but working alongside them, setting small and achievable tasks. As part of our intervention, we also provide practical assistance with the activities of daily life. We have a dedicated team of Case Workers who are managed by Case Managers coming from a nursing or social work background. In delivering our support we utilise social work skills, knowledge and values to promote change and manage risk. Our staff are DBS checked and adequately trained in Hoarding Intervention, Mental Health Awareness as well as all mandatory training for care workers.
