Arts Impact

Arts Impact is a Seattle-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming education through culturally responsive arts integration. We empower educators to teach the arts and integrate them into all learning, closing the opportunity gap for children of color and those experiencing poverty. Our professional learning program, encompassing models like Arts Foundations & Arts Infusion, equips teachers with the skills and resources to infuse the arts into core subjects, aligning with National Core Arts Standards and Common Core. We foster a collaborative environment with artist mentors and a focus on performance-based assessments. Arts Impact’s research projects, including SAIL and AIDE, demonstrate the impact of arts-infused learning on student outcomes.

Arts Impact’s mission is to engage educators, children, and youth from BIPOC and Migratory families as well as other marginalized communities in culturally grounded, arts integrated learning so that each student thrives academically.

Through our six professional development models – including Early Learning, STEM: Arts-infused Learning (SAIL), and Arts Leadership Training – we provide sustained, job-embedded learning and support to schools across Washington State. We are committed to expanding access to quality arts instruction and fostering a more equitable educational landscape.
