American School of Gas Measurement Technology ASGMT'26 will be held August 31st - September 3rd, 2026 at a NEW LOCATION - the Marriott The Woodlands Waterway (Texas) conference center. Founded in 1966, ASGMT is America’s Largest Gas & Liquid Measurement School in the United States that is devoted to natural gas and liquid hydrocarbon measurement. Our annual seminar format school is held each year in September, in Houston, Texas, the energy capital of the world. ASGMT is proud to offer education and personal training from industry professionals at a price that’s affordable for anyone. Our educational opportunities are divided into seven main subject groups: Fundamental Measurement, Gas Quality, Distribution, General and Advanced Measurement, Transmission, Office Procedures and Accounting, Hands-On training. Our school provides an intense three-day immersion in hydrocarbon measurement that is designed to benefit both individuals beginning their Natural Gas or Liquid measurement career, and seasoned veterans of the industry through over 115 lecture classes and 48 hands-on classes. Not only does the student receive training from an analytical viewpoint, but they also have the opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with various products. ASGMT is proud to host over 175 exhibit booths that provide real hands-on experience and training for students and visitors. Educational exhibits are hosted by companies that assist ASGMT for class instruction. The American School of Gas Measurement Technology is a non-profit organization with no employees! Our General Committee consists of approximately 60 industry leaders, from the industry’s operating and manufacturing companies, that volunteer their time and resources to make the event possible. Continuing Edition Units (CEUs) for classes are provide in cooperation with the Texas A&M University System.
