Associazione IBAN

IBAN is the Italian National Association focused on the development and the growth of Business Angels econsystem in Italy. IBAN, a non-profit making association under the Italian law, was founded on March 1999 with the aim to introduce in Italy the business angels - BA experience and to develop a national platform of BAN – business angels network. IBAN is an Italian registered trademark IBAN's members are professionals in matching investors (formal and informal) and entrepreneurs. Also some individual business angels are engaged in IBAN activities. There are examples of public sector, private sector and “not profit” organisations. IBAN - Italian Business Angel Network, è un’associazione senza scopo di lucro, ufficialmente riconosciuta e con personalità giuridica, fondata il 15 marzo 1999 a seguito del Progetto “DG Impresa” promosso dalla Commissione europea. L’Associazione coordina e sviluppa l’attività di investimento nel capitale di rischio di piccole imprese da parte di investitori informali (Business Angels). All’interno del contesto nazionale si pone come punto di riferimento per gli investitori privati, per i network nazionali (BAN) e per i Club di Investitori, mentre a livello europeo fa capo BAE, Business Angels Europe. www.iban.it
