Astronomy Society at UCF

Astronomy Society at UCF is a registered student organization at the University of Central Florida, based in Orlando, Florida. We cultivate a passion for the cosmos among UCF students, fostering a vibrant community of space enthusiasts. Our mission is to create a vehicle for members to explore and appreciate the wonders of the universe. We offer a range of activities, from observing celestial events to engaging in research projects, all within the Department of Physics. We are dedicated to promoting scientific literacy and inspiring the next generation of astronomers and space scientists.

The Astronomy Society at UCF serves a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as community members, providing opportunities for learning and discovery. We address the fundamental human desire to understand our place in the vastness of space, offering accessible resources and engaging events.
