The University Design Institute at ASU is a global leader in transforming higher education, based in Tempe, Arizona. We empower universities to become more powerful engines of social and economic impact by focusing on reimagining, redesigning, and rebuilding their systems and practices. Our work centers on fostering innovation, driving systemic change, and equipping institutions with the capabilities to independently shape their own trajectories of transformation. We specialize in collaborative ideation, capacity building for design, and the implementation of prototypes – ultimately aiming to make ourselves redundant by strengthening our partners’ internal expertise.
