Aurora Public Library Foundation

The Aurora Public Library Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Aurora Public Library District and the wider Aurora community. Based in Aurora, Illinois, we champion literacy and community engagement through a range of impactful programs. For over 25 years, the Foundation has invested in vital library services, including the Rory’s Readers Adventure Kits, which provide bilingual home libraries to families, and the Light of Learning Scholarships, removing financial barriers to library access for underserved residents.

Currently, we are focused on enhancing the Eola Road Branch with a Low-Sensory Space and Makerspace, fostering innovation and inclusion within the community. Our work directly supports the Library’s mission of connecting people to community and celebrating every story, ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities for all.
