Aveum ID is a genomic-based digital identity system that generates unique, secure identifiers from whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data-to- scale into exsisting identification and verification systems. Aveum ID is part of the Aveum Genomic Idenex System (GIS), a deterministic genomic identification platform designed for national identity, law enforcement, immigration, military, and forensic applications. The system converts a person’s genomic data into a unique 15-character hexadecimal identifier, which serves as a compact, traceable key to the original DNA source. This identifier is generated deterministically, ensuring zero collision probability across populations, and includes a Genomic Duplicate Safety Hash (GDSH) to prevent duplicate assignments. Aveum ID operates on a zero-knowledge design, meaning it does not store or process health markers, racial indicators, or medical data, ensuring compliance with GDPR, PIPEDA, PDPL, and other data network protocols. The system can process standard (WGS) data (~300 GB per subject) and produce a lightweight GIS anchor in sub-second time. Aveum GIS can host global-scale identity datasets on commodity hardware, with a single rack server capable of storing the genomic data of hundreds of millions of individuals.
