Axieme is an insurtech startup based in Italy with a European vocation. We are the first social insurance in Italy as we insure communities made by people with same coverage needs. Policyholders are gathered into a group (called “circle") and share information on the claims occurred within the circle they belong to. At policy expiration Axieme’s algorithm calculates a giveback for each policyholder based on the logic “few claims = high giveback”. This improves transparency, awareness and equity while reducing frauds and moral hazards. Axieme is also an insurance platform, developed on API technology, which empowers carriers, MGAs, bancassurance and distributors to operate digitally and integrate with third party seamlessly. It is fully focused on supporting the insurance industry in their digitalization journey.
