AYA ESTATE VINEYARDS is a unique place in Bulgaria that combines art and winemaking. The project results from a decade of dedication and hard work of two friendly families striving to create a sustainable and balanced environment where art and nature are inextricably connected. It is our mission and commitment to preserve the ancient wine traditions and the indigenous grape varieties of the Struma Valley Region. WE PRACTICE WHAT WE PREACH Aya Estate Vineyards is more than a winery—it’s a treasure trove. Our wines are authentic, distinctive, and true to their origins. THE NATURE OF WINE The philosophy of a winery starts from the work in the vineyards and it is inspired by the power of nature. We believe in its boundless freedom to create perfection, and we only need to listen to it and follow suit. The work in Aya Estate is entirely subjected to sustainability and natural processes. We believe in organic and bio dynamic farming and all our vineyards have been cultivated with respect to these principles from the very start. ESTATE AND TERROIR The vineyards of Aya are located in two regions - the Black Sea Region near Kavarna and the Struma Valley Region near the village of Harsovo, well-known for its unique terroir and winemaking traditions. We grow the iconic grape variety Melnik (Shiroka Melnishka Loza) as well as other rare and valuable local varieties. ARCHITECTURE AND ART Aya Estate – a masterpiece of modern architecture—is created by Bulgarian architects from WhATA and has been adapted to the natural outlines of the terrain. The building includes a tasting room, a wine bar, a shop, and a restaurant with organic products from our farm. Art is an integral part of our lives, and site-specific works of Bulgarian and international artists, inspired by the local scenery and wines, are displayed on the premises.
