Bank On Arkansas+

BankOn Arkansas+ is a nonprofit organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas, dedicated to connecting low- and moderate-income Arkansans with safe and affordable mainstream financial services.

Established in 2017 as a coalition of financial institutions, nonprofits, grantmakers, and government agencies, BankOn Arkansas+ plays a vital role in promoting asset building and economic mobility across the state. The organization’s genesis stemmed from a vision shared by Darrin Williams of Southern Bancorp, aiming to address the significant need for accessible banking services within Arkansas.

Today, BankOn Arkansas+ boasts nearly 50 member institutions, including banks, credit unions, and community partners, operating in all 75 Arkansas counties. It’s a key part of the national Bank On movement, led by the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, and works closely with the Arkansas Asset Funders Network to further its mission of financial empowerment for all Arkansans.
