Overview

Bathtub Dogs is a premier all-male A Cappella group based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founded in 2002 by Scott Wilson and Aaron Hurlbut, we’ve grown into a nationally recognized ensemble, consistently entertaining audiences at weddings, charity events, and concerts. We specialize in delivering high-quality a cappella performances, and in 2024, we placed in the Top 25 of all Acapella groups at the ICCA competition. Our team of 19 talented students, known as ‘pups,’ brings a dynamic and energetic approach to every performance. We’re dedicated to providing memorable musical experiences and upholding the ‘Go Big Red!’ spirit of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

As a performing ensemble, our primary goal is simple: To entertain. We’ve cultivated a diverse repertoire spanning 20 years of songs, and we’re always eager to learn new arrangements and tailor our performances to suit any event. Our fully-functional sound system, including professional-grade speakers, microphones, and a soundboard, ensures a polished and engaging experience for our audiences.

What sets the Bathtub Dogs apart is our commitment to community engagement and our passion for a cappella music. We actively seek opportunities to connect with local organizations and share our love of music with the wider Nebraska community. We are proud to be a part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and contribute to the vibrant cultural scene in Lincoln.
