Beanies Wholefoods Co-operative

Beanies Wholefoods Co-operative is a thriving, independent, and ethical grocery store based in Sheffield, dedicated to providing the city with fresh, seasonal, and organic produce for over 35 years. As a registered Workers Co-operative, we’re owned and run by our members, reflecting our commitment to fairness and community. We prioritize local growers, champion sustainable practices like zero waste and low food miles, and stock a diverse range of vegan, vegetarian, and Fairtrade products, including locally-made specialties. From our humble beginnings to our current location at 1 Barber Road, Beanies has grown into a beloved community success story, offering a nature-friendly alternative to traditional supermarkets and supporting a healthier regional economy.
