We take a people-oriented approach to investing and the evaluation of founders. We maintain a proudly generalist investing thesis in order to stay flexible and adapt as the market changes, allowing us to back the best and brightest founders. As a firm with a solo GP, we want to feel strong conviction in the founder’s problem-solution. We value autonomy in our decision-making process, and hope our investment becomes a signal to other investors. If there’s one X factor the companies we back share in common, it’s that design and beauty are valued alongside functional products. Paige Finn Doherty is the Managing Partner of Behind Genius Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that leans into the power of storytelling to back timeless companies building the future of work and play. Previously, Paige spent time at WorkOS as a Developer Success Engineer and TVC Capital, a B2B software-focused growth equity firm. She has written a children’s book about venture capital called Seed to Harvest, and now hosts a podcast by the same name. One of the youngest female solo GPs in the world, she was the 2022 Forbes Under 30 Standout for Venture Capital.
