Bilberry is the world’s first intelligent weeding system for large crop farmers looking for higher quality & more profitable products, that have a positive environmental impact. Our systems help reduce the use of herbicides by 80% thanks to our high-end technology and precise artificial intelligence. Farmer’s biggest issue today is to handle the growing pressure of resistant weeds in their crops. They struggle to kill weeds, thus they have to spray more and more herbicides. By using so much herbicides the worse the problems get. It has a huge cost for them, on their health, their wallet and the environment. We want to change this. We are developing an embedded camera network in our lab that mounts on agricultural sprayers. The system allows the recognition and treatment of problematic areas in real time and in precise manner. It also allows our farmers to visualize their crops on a weed map, so they can track the evolution of problems. In 2016, Bilberry was founded and realised 100k in revenues thanks to our clients.
