BioHub Ltd.

BioHub is an idea born by Ecosalt, a company, whose founders have been working in the salt industry for more than 90 years. Ecosalt started to embrace other projects in the blue economy sector and through its vast experience came an idea of a new place, where new projects of the same field could meet and work together. BioHub is a new platform with great expectations, that aims to bring together different marine projects and gives them access to 150hectares of salinas. A working environment, where people from different areas, from different cultures and scientific fields, can cooperate and exchange “know-how”. The projects that BioHub wants to gather in the same place are Marine Bioenergy, Clean Tech, Aquaculture, Microalgae, Aqua feed, Marine Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals etc. Our aim is to create a cluster of companies that work in the marine sectors and want to implement their projects. University Projects are welcome to be part of this network and to establish their research center.
