Black Bull Gartmore

Black Bull Gartmore is a community-owned hub and pub nestled in the heart of the Trossachs National Park, Scotland. We offer a warm welcome and a traditional Scottish experience, serving delicious home-cooked food, local cask ales, and stunningly beautiful bedrooms. With a rich history dating back to at least 1740, as a drovers’ inn and later a vital part of the village’s infrastructure, including a wartime munitions dump, Black Bull Gartmore now stands as a testament to community spirit and local heritage. Today, we continue to serve the Gartmore community and visitors alike, offering a place to relax, enjoy good food and drink, and experience the beauty of the Scottish countryside. We are proud to be the first community in Scotland to own both its shop and pub, preserving a vital part of our village’s identity.
