Blood Bank of Alaska

Blood Bank of Alaska is a vital nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-saving blood products and services to patients throughout Alaska. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, we operate multiple centers across the state, including Fairbanks, Wasilla, Juneau, and Kenai, ensuring a consistent blood supply for hospitals and medical centers.

Our mission is to support the Alaskan community by collecting, processing, and distributing blood and platelets, playing a critical role in treating patients with cancer, chronic diseases, and traumatic injuries. We rely on the generosity of over 700 dedicated donors each week to meet the region’s needs.
