Blue Planet Marine (BPM) is a leading independent marine research and consulting firm trusted and respected by our clients and associates. Established in 2002 by David Paton, we have undertaken successful projects throughout Australian, New Zealand, Asian, South Pacific, sub-Antarctic and Antarctic waters for government, industry, research, and non-government organisations. BPM specialises in marine megafauna (whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, dugongs, turtles ... the big stuff!). We've drawn together a team of highly skilled and experienced biologists, ecologists, policy experts, acousticians, trainers, and observers.
