BMS Controls and Energy are based in the Midlands with a group of engineers covering maintenance, installation and service calls across the UK. We have an enthusiastic approach, and a vast amount of experience in both small and large buildings. We have worked in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors and also in home automation. Unlike many of our competitors we are not tied to one manufacturer and can offer the best product for your requirements as opposed to the nearest solution from a fixed product range. This not only enables us to closely match the technology to your needs but also the budget. As with any goods there are mainstream manufacturers available which offer efficient and reliable products, and there are prestige manufacturers for the more niche applications; as we are not tied to a particular product we can offer you a bespoke solution. Our engineers not only have experience in controls but have previously worked as mechanical and electrical engineers. This serves to give them a deeper understanding of the buildings in which they work, and strengthens their ability to select the right products, and then write the correct software to maximise comfort and energy savings for you and the workspace. We work with Trend, Schneider, Delta, Distech and KNX amongst others. BMS stands for Building Management System. With the current emphasis on energy saving this is often known as BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems). This is an automatic control system that works behind the scenes in a building to not only give the required conditions for the occupants, but to do so in the most energy frugal way. The system controls or interfaces with aspects of the building that affect the comfort or safety of the occupants, or the energy usage.
