Overview

Bocconi Students Investment Fund (BSIF) is a society whose goal is to give its partecipants the possibility to apply their theoretical knowledge to concrete financial problems. Our main objective is to effectively manage a virtual portfolio, applying macroeconomic insights, fundamental research and technical analysis. The objective of the Fund is to generate greater risk-adjusted returns compared with the S&P 500 through an Active Management Strategy that aims to invest in fundamentally undervalued companies. We achieve broad Equity diversification by investing in Foreign Emerging and Developed Markets as well as different sectors across the U.S. Market, including Basic Materials, Consumer Cyclical, Financial Services, Real Estate, Communication Services, Energy, Industrials, Technology, Consumer Defensive, Healthcare and Utilities. We are looking for highly motivated students with a strong passion for financial markets. The society is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. Members are required to meet weekly to share and discuss ideas and trading strategies. The fund recruits new associates twice a year during Fall and Spring.
