Bookwire GmbH was founded in Frankfurt in 2009 as a service provider for the delivery of e-books and digital content to publishers and has since developed into one of the leading international companies in the field of digital publishing technology. The current 56 employees in Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Brazil and Mexico support more than 1,600 publishers in the e-book, audio book and print on demand sectors. Around 350,000 e-books and 45,000 audio books are delivered, analysed and marketed via the groundbreaking "Bookwire OS - One Solution"​ software launched in 2019 in all relevant exploitation channels. In addition to the latest technology in customer analytics, pricing, etc., Bookwire GmbH's publishing customers also rely on the individual support of Account & Marketing Managers, who provide continuous customer support. For the audio book production solution "We Audiobook You"​ (WAY), the company was awarded the first "Digital Publishing Award"​ in the B2B solutions sector in 2019. Bookwire GmbH is managed by the founders Jens Klingelhöfer and John Ruhrmann and operates branches in Madrid (Spain) and São Paulo (Brazil) in addition to its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.
