Welcome to the page of Brasenose College Boat Club (BNCBC).
Situated on the banks of the River Isis in Oxford, BNCBC is sited as the oldest collegiate boat club in the World and original inventors of the coxless four, first seen in the 1868 Henley Royal Regatta.
The boat club is open to any individual from the college, having rowed previously or not, and takes great pride in training novices up to competing standard with our experienced, professional coaches.
The highlights of the season must include the annual Torpids and Summer Eights bumps events, during Hilary and Trinity Term respectively, in which BNCBC puts out up to 6 crews in front of crowds as strong as 50,000.
The boat club is fantastic way to makes friends, keep fit and have fun - not only supporting a rich history and culture, but also an entertaining social side.
