Bristol Water

Delivering water from source to tap is a mammoth feat and over 500 Bristol Water employees make this happen! Bristol Water supplies water to over 1.1 million people and businesses in an area of almost 2,400 square kilometres centres on Bristol. We take water from nearly 70 different sources which range from reservoirs, rivers, springs, wells and boreholes. Our largest reservoir is Chew Valley Lake which can hold 20,240 million litres of water. We use some of the latest technology and sophisticated IT systems, to ensure our complex network (which includes 164 pumping stations and over 6,600 km's of pipe) runs smoothly 24 hours a day. Most of our staff are based at our head office on Bedminster Down, which has recently been extended and refurbished into a high quality, modern and comfortable working environment that enhances our teamwork culture. The open plan office complex has a light and attractive atrium café at its heart and lots of quality meeting rooms and break out areas. Our location on the outskirts of Bristol means that we can offer free parking.
