Caldec Holding is an investment vehicle wholly owned by Markus Metyas and brothers Hermann and Florian Wendelstadt. Caldec’s objective is to acquire large minority or majority stakes in profitable and growing private companies, either through the purchase of existing shares, capital increases or a combination of both and to manage these for long term value creation and dividends. Typically, our target companies are characterized by an asset-light business model (e.g. business services incl. software) with an operating profit in the range of € 2.0 - 6.0 million. Target companies should operate in stable markets with limited capital expenditure intensity, good visibility on future cash flows and, ideally, the potential for add-on acquisitions. As Caldec is not dependent on third party funds, it is in a position to consider long term equity participations with no predetermined exit date.
