California Showcase

California Showcase is a leading nonprofit organization based in Irvine, California, dedicated to providing a free, one-day event for high school football seniors. Our mission is to connect talented student-athletes with NCAA Division II, III, and NAIA football programs, facilitating access to higher education and financial aid. We operate by creating a platform where these athletes can showcase their skills and receive direct exposure to college coaches, ultimately helping them achieve their academic and athletic goals. Since 2012, the California Showcase has facilitated over $47 million in financial aid for more than 5,200 student-athletes, representing a significant impact on their futures and the broader football community.

The event itself is a carefully orchestrated combine, featuring 400 elite athletes from across California undergoing rigorous skill assessments and drills. These assessments are designed to accurately represent each player’s abilities and potential, providing coaches with valuable insights. Following the athletic portion, a dedicated meeting space allows for direct communication between student-athletes and college representatives, fostering personalized discussions about scholarship opportunities and financial aid packages.

The California Showcase’s success is rooted in the legacy of Coach Terry Donahue, a UCLA legend and five-time Rose Bowl champion, who founded the organization with the National Football Foundation.
