Camp Milton

Camp Milton is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Overland Park, Kansas, providing a transformative summer camp experience for children and young adults with neuromuscular diseases. Since 2018, we’ve fostered a supportive and inclusive community where campers develop lasting friendships, build self-confidence, and explore a range of accessible activities like swimming, archery, and arts and crafts. Our mission is to offer a magical week of fun and personal growth, completely free of charge to families, while upholding a legacy of over 60 years of camp tradition. We rely on the dedication of volunteers – including counselors, nurses, and staff – to ensure each camper receives individualized attention and support. Camp Milton is more than just a camp; it’s a place where young people with neuromuscular diseases can thrive and create memories that last a lifetime. We are committed to providing an authentic and accessible experience, rooted in a strong support system and a deep understanding of the unique needs of our campers.
