Cariboni Group

Cariboni was established in 1908 in Lombardy, making accessories for electrical lines. This Workshop marked the starting point of a great Italian business, designing and producing increasingly innovative products: from Italy’s first electric railways to high voltage power lines, from large floodlights for lighthouses to outdoor luminaires. From 1965 the company put its original thinking to good use, developing major technological innovations in the lighting sector in terms of design, optics, electronics, materials science and production. It made outdoor urban, street, architectural and functional lighting products. Over time, it became a leader on the European outdoor lighting market. In the early Noughties, Cariboni was one of the first Italian and international lighting manufacturers to believe and invest in the production of LED luminaires. That technology went on to revolutionise light. Cariboni has an international presence through its branch Cariboni Lite France.
