Overview

The Chartered Society of Designers is the professional body for designers with members in over 30 countries. It is the world's largest chartered body of professional designers and is unique in representing designers in all disciplines, supporting them 'From Learning to Earning' TM As well as offering membership at all levels we have been granted powers to maintain the Register of Chartered Designers and award the title Chartered Designer to those completing the Pathway. The Society is able to licence other design bodies wishing to offer Chartered Designer status. We manage the Prince Philip Designers Prize and the Prince Philip Student Design Awards as well as offering a range of other awards and prizes. The Society is an accrediting body for design education through its CSD Course Endorsement Programme which engages with over 50 courses internationally.
