Chung Ying Cantonese Restaurant

Chung Ying Cantonese Restaurant is one of the leading Cantonese restaurants in the UK. Specialising in dim sum and Cantonese classics, opening in 1981, it was the first Chinese restaurant in the area now known are Birmingham China Town. There is also a large vegan and gluten free menu available. The restaurant is multi award winning winning in 2018 the Best Chinese Restaurant in the Midlands, at the British Chinese Food Awards, in 2019, winning two awards at the Midland Food Drink and Hospitality Awards; the best Oriental restaurant in the Midlands and the "Peoples Choice" award. The restaurant then went on to win the Restaurant of the Year in the Birmingham Awards at the end of 2019. In 2022 Chung Ying Cantonese won the Best East Asian restaurant and the People's Choice Award and is currently a finalist in the National Golden Chopsticks Awards with the winner to be announced in London in September 2022. Chung Ying have some lovely spaces, with seating available for 120 in the upstairs function room which also has karaoke, it's own bar and conferencing capabilities available, 100 in the downstairs dining room (two projector & screens available) and over 70 guests in their popular outside, covered, heated terraced area.
