C-Intech

C-INTECH offers professional TTC EMI, Electrolysis & Stray Current Studies to assess and mitigate the risks of electromagnetic interference (EMI), electrolytic corrosion, and stray currents for developments near Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) infrastructure. These studies are a mandatory requirement for developers building in close proximity to TTC assets, such as subways, streetcars, or power systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and infrastructure integrity. We provide comprehensive studies across all levels (1-4), tailored to the project’s scope and proximity.

At C-INTECH, we specialize in helping developers and stakeholders navigate the City of Toronto’s EMF Management Plan requirements. EMF Management Plans stem from a comprehensive report by the Medical Officer of Health at Toronto Public Health highlighting the importance of managing EMF exposure, particularly in and adjacent to hydro corridors. Our team provides end-to-end support, including advanced modeling services that set us apart from competitors, ensuring your project achieves compliance while prioritizing prudent avoidance strategies.

C-INTECH designs and implements active field mitigation systems to reduce unwanted low-frequency magnetic field fluctuations around sensitive equipment and controlled spaces. Using field measurement, engineering analysis, FEA-supported design, sensors, controllers, and compensation coils, we develop systems around the conditions measured at your facility.

At C-INTECH, we conduct engineering-led radio frequency surveys to measure, analyze, and map radio frequency (RF) conditions within buildings, campuses, and infrastructure sites. We identify interference sources, assess exposure against applicable criteria, and provide the technical data required to improve wireless performance or plan mitigation.

At C-INTECH, we perform engineering-led electromagnetic field (EMF) surveys to measure, map, and evaluate low-frequency magnetic fields and radiofrequency conditions within buildings and operational sites. Our findings help project teams investigate interference, assess exposure conditions, identify field sources, and determine whether mitigation should be considered.

At C-INTECH, we design, fabricate, install, and test radio frequency (RF) shielded enclosure systems for facilities that require controlled radio-frequency conditions. Each enclosure is engineered around the required frequency range, attenuation target, access needs, utilities, and operating environment.

C-INTECH designs, fabricates, and installs custom MRI cabins that protect imaging systems from external radio frequency interference. Each RF-shielded room is engineered around the MRI system, facility layout, architectural requirements, and manufacturer specifications.

C-INTECH provides MRI EMF interference studies to identify magnetic and radio frequency conditions that may affect MRI installations or surrounding spaces. Using field measurements and finite element analysis (FEA), we help project teams meet manufacturer siting requirements, reduce interference risks, and plan effective mitigation.

C-INTECH designs and installs custom ELF architectural magnetic shielding systems for buildings and infrastructure. Utilizing advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling software, we develop solutions that reduce power-frequency magnetic fields and integrate into walls, floors, ceilings, and equipment rooms. From assessment and design to installation and testing, we provide complete ELF field mitigation support.

C-INTECH provides detailed A.C. magnetic field analysis studies using advanced finite element analysis (FEA) software. Our studies help design teams understand expected magnetic field levels, identify potential EMF concerns, and choose practical mitigation strategies before construction begins.
