Circle Cat is a Rochester, New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Mandarin-speaking women with free computer science education and career support. We provide high-quality software engineering courses that progress from beginner to advanced levels, utilizing Generative AI technology to help students learn programming faster and better. After acquiring basic software engineering skills, our students collaborate with industry volunteers through our Residency Program to complete open-source, non-profit, or corporate partnership projects and receive 1:1 mentorship. Our mission is to provide all Chinese speaking women accessible education resourses free of charge to help them engage in tech industry career growth.

Circle Cat is an education and research 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We offer high-quality software engineering courses that progress from beginner to advanced levels, utilizing Generative AI technology to help students learn programming faster and better. We provide industrial standard infrastructure for students and volunteers. This includes cloud and on premise servers, infrastructure licensing and maintenance costs from contractors. Fund our interns As part of our Residency Program, we hire interns (full-time or part-time) to work on projects that are related to our cause. Donation is used to pay for their salaries/benefit and cause related projects.

Circle Cat relies on the dedication of volunteers and generous donations to support its mission. We are grateful for the support of companies that offer matching donations to further our impact on women in technology. Donations are used to cover operational costs, infrastructure, and program support.
