Clear the Air Challenge

Clear the Air Challenge is a Utah-based nonprofit dedicated to improving air quality and reducing traffic congestion through sustainable transportation initiatives. Since 2009, we’ve empowered individuals and organizations to adopt TravelWise strategies – carpooling, public transit, active transportation, and telecommuting – to significantly decrease vehicle emissions. Our challenge program, now an ongoing initiative, encourages participants to track their trips and collectively save substantial amounts of fuel and reduce harmful emissions. By engaging communities in practical, everyday changes, Clear the Air Challenge contributes to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future for Utah. We provide resources and support to facilitate lasting behavioral shifts, fostering a culture of responsible transportation choices.
