Colour Collective UK

Colour Collective UK is a Newcastle-based non-profit organization dedicated to exploring the multifaceted world of colour through events and education. We host a diverse range of talks and workshops, fostering cross-disciplinary discussions about colour’s impact on art, design, and media. Our events are open to the public and provide a platform for sharing perspectives on this fundamental element of human experience. We are supported by Newcastle and Northumbria Universities, furthering our mission to disseminate knowledge and appreciation for colour. Colour Collective UK champions accessible colour education for all.

Originally established as the Northern Chapter of the Colour Group (GB) in 2016, we’ve grown into a vibrant community dedicated to showcasing the ‘magic of colour’ in its various forms. We strive to create engaging experiences that connect individuals with the power and beauty of colour, from its scientific foundations to its creative applications.

Events range from workshops exploring colour theory and design to discussions on colour in art and fashion. We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of colour.
