CO-OP Architecture

CO-OP Architecture is a design and planning firm based in South Dakota, dedicated to creating better architecture in our own backyard. We specialize in a wide range of projects, including schools, offices, civic work, and restorations, alongside interior design and master planning. Founded in 2012, our firm, comprised of 30 Midwesterners, draws inspiration from the cooperative spirit of the heartland, striving to challenge the status quo and foster thriving communities. We’re committed to defining South Dakota architecture, celebrating our history while embracing innovation.

Our team boasts extensive experience, with Principal Architects Thomas Hurlbert and Brian Skrovig bringing decades of expertise to each project. We’re always seeking talented individuals to join our mission and contribute to shaping a better future for our communities.
