Copper Widow is a North Texas-based whiskey education company offering public and private whiskey tastings and courses. We are Jennifer and Scott Thompson, a husband and wife team with a 30-year passion for whiskey and a commitment to sharing our knowledge with others.

Copper Widow™ was founded to unite the whiskey community, fostering discovery and connection among enthusiasts and knowledge seekers alike. We curate engaging tastings, deliver comprehensive courses, and provide personalized consultation services.

Our courses cover a wide range of whiskey styles, from Bourbon and Scotch to Irish whiskey and Gin, catering to both beginners and experienced palates. We also specialize in creating bespoke whiskey tasting experiences for private gatherings and corporate events, ensuring a memorable and educational experience for all attendees. We’re proud to be instructors at respected institutions, including the Whisk(e)y Marketing School and the Stave and Thief Society of Kentucky.
